Title I
Dutch Clark Digital Online at Paragon is a Title I School
What does that mean for me?
It means that we receive Federal Funding (approximately $163k for the 2022-2023 school year) to support our students due to our high population of families who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
How is that money spent?
We use it to purchase technology platforms such as Canvas, ALEKS Math, Reading Plus and others for students to use, academic materials such as hands on robotics, drones, audio and visual equipment, and other hands-on activities to engage students. We are also able to have extra staff to support engagement, student attendance, course completion and graduation rate.
What else does it mean?
It means that parents have the right to request information on a teacher's qualifications including their state licensing criteria, status, certification, highly qualified content areas, and the certifications of paraprofessionals, etc.
How can parents be involved?
Parents can join our School Accountability Committee, Family Engagement Committee, and participate in Family Engagement Events. All parents can attend and participate in family onboarding to learn specific ways to be involved.
